b) Off-shore geotechnical engineering:
In the year 2000 G.E.O.S. Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH and the co-operation partners PETROBALTIC OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION-PRODUCTION COMPANY S.A. as well as Vermessungbüro Weigt joint in a consortium providing technical and engineering services for projects in the marine sector. G.E.O.S. Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH offers the following, especially for development of wind parks in the near-shore as well as off-shore:
- overall supervision of exploration works performed in connection with development of wind parks in the near-shore as well as off-shore
- geological/geotechnical investigation of wind park sites as well as cable routes by utilisation of rotary core drilling methods with continuous coring in inliners with the drilling vessel St. Barbara
- geophysical well-logging
- performance of CPT and SPT investigations with the drilling vessel St. Barbara
- taking sea bottom samples with vibratory boring tackles VKG-3 and VKG-6
- video investigations with remote underwater camera or a dragged camera
- hydrographic measurements
- seismic measurements
- ide-scan sonar measurements
