Well connected worldwide - G.E.O.S. expert became member of AusIMM

G.E.O.S. expert became a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM)

In May, Kersten Kühn, Head of the Deposits Department at G.E.O.S., was accepted into the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM). As a member (MAusIMM) of the International Branch of the AusIMM, G.E.O.S. is herewith represented in the network of one of the world's most important professional organisations in the mining industry.

Founded in 1893, AusIMM represents a community of 110 countries and is a Recognized Professional Organization (RPO) authorised by the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC).

An RPO is an accredited organisation to which a Competent Person (CP) must belong under the JORC Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (JORC Code) in order to report exploration results, resources or reserves to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). ASX is one of the world's leading financial stock exchanges through which exploration and mining projects are traded.

The JORC Code is not limited to projects in Australia, but is applied globally to resource projects for which G.E.O.S. provides relevant expertise.
