Raw material exploration project Pöhla-Globenstein

The mining of mineral resources is based on a mining licence in accordance with Section 8 of the Federal Mining Act (BBergG). The permit also includes further geological exploration as part of the preparation and implementation of an exploitation operation.

The raw material exploration for the Pöhla-Globenstein project by G.E.O.S. involved the duplication of historical tin-tungsten exploration drilling by the former SDAG Wismut in the Pöhla-Globenstein polymetallic deposit in accordance with the international reporting standard (NI 43-101) with a total of 3 drill holes and a total drill core length of approx. 500 metres ("twin holes"). With the duplication of the old drillings, the usability of the data and results from exploration stages before 1990 had to be checked. The exploration work was planned by G.E.O.S. until ready for approval, put out to tender for the client and monitored on site to ensure that it was carried out professionally and in accordance with the permit. The results were documented and compared with the historical results.
